My Story

I’m a Toronto-based creative strategist, showrunner, video editor, composer, and multidisciplinary artist working across digital media, film, and music.

Visually, my work spans creative direction, video editing, graphic design, and illustration. Since graduating from York University’s film program in 2010, I’ve worked across documentaries, music videos, experimental films, web series, and factual television.

For the past six years, I’ve been part of the team at Underknown, the Webby-recognized digital media company behind series like What If. There, I’ve researched, written, edited, and produced hundreds of episodes, several of which have garnered millions of views. Since 2021, I’ve progressed into showrunning, leading creative strategy and overseeing production for series including Your Body On and How to Survive. My work spans the entire creative process, from concept development and storytelling to editorial direction and publication, collaborating with writers, editors, and researchers.

Sonically, I work in music production, sound design, and composition for film. I’m a keyboardist and songwriter with RØISEN, Tush, and The Future Primitive, and I write, produce, and perform electronic music as Hemingway, as well as under the alias Cydux. I wrote and produced the viral hit, What If’s Solar System Song. I also teach people Ableton Live and have helped engineer and co-produce some of my students’ musical works.

In 2017, I co-founded Cosmic Resonance Records with longtime friend and collaborator Chris Evans. Through the label, I released my debut album, Memoirs, on vinyl and have continued to release original music, including the Breathing Puddles EP by Cydux. My composition work has included projects for Blood Brothers Brewery, Front Range Films, and Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Interior Design.
